Toe tappin', knee slappin' FUN!
The Old Grey Goose is landing and we are all proud to host internationally renowned fiddler, Frank Ferrell, this year, on Sunday July 8th on the lawn of the Morris Farm.
Widely regarded as a composer - the classic Cape Breton jig, Spin-N-Glo, is one of his compositions - Frank Ferrel is considered to be one of the leading North American fiddlers performing today. In a recent Boston Globe article, music critic Scott Alarik referred to Mr. Ferrel as "One of the finest living masters," of that genre.
Old Grey Goose International (OGGI) plays old-time dance tunes on a variety of acoustic instruments; sings songs of love, work, diversity, and achievement from the vast repertoire of American folk history; and teaches and calls regional dances representing multi-cultural traditions.
