The Morris Farm Trust is both a working farm and an educational resource for the communities of mid coast Maine. As a non-profit, educational, membership organization, The Morris Farm Trust promotes the values of sustainable agriculture and stewardship of the earth through education, demonstration and community involvement while enhancing food security in the greater mid-coast area by providing:
The Morris Farm Trust recognizes that local, ecologically-sound farming is an essential yet threatened part of our heritage. As the traditional working landscapes of Maine continue to disappear, there is an intensifying need to support agriculture that is sustained from the work and wisdom of people within our community.

we do here at the Morris Farm. It supports vibrant programming for youth, families and adults, helps the Morris Farm to be a leader in the community concerning alternative energies, builds raised beds for our educational garden, fixes a leaky roof, repairs trails, and teaches a child the pleasure and importance of growing their own food.

Donations are fully tax deductible. Members’ dues are used to help cover regular day to day operating expenses. The Morris Farm Trust is a not-for profit, 501(c)(3) organization. It is funded by program fees, individual gifts, corporate gifts, foundation grants, and annual membership dues. Our members understand and appreciate the value of sustainable farming and of local grown food. They know the importance of connecting our children to the earth and the creatures we share it with.
