1. Wedding Facility Rental w/Officiate & Photographer
Get married at The Farm! This package grantes you use of the Barn, Learning Center/Kitchen and Back Deck/Lawn for your wedding. It also includes our Board President and local Pastor, Madelyn Hennessey to officiate your vows. Finally, a photographer to record all your moments, sponsored by Discover Wiscasset. We have a legal capacity for 360 people, barn seating of about 150. Please plan your event to occur between 12/1/2019 and 1/1/2021. Rental of the facility, alone, starts at $1,200- total package value could easily exceed $2,500. Bidding starts at $900


2. Meeting/Party Facility Rental
Hold your next family reunion at Morris Farm! This item provides for use of our facility for up to 6 hours (including setup and clean-up.) for you to host a party, class or event. Our Learning Center has a kitchen for your (or your caterer's) use. You will have use of the meeting room, back decks and farm lawn so your guests can enjoyy, mingle and roam. Party rental of the facility is valued at $150.


3. Meeting Facility Rental
Host your next meeting at Morris Farm! This package includes use of the Learning Center meeting space for up to four hours, including set-up and clean-up. The room has a capacity to seat 75-100 people. (Use of the kitchen is not included in this package- See #2, party rental package). This rental is valued at $75.


4. Hand-Painted Santa Sled Decor
Hand painted by Nobleboro artist, Nancy Hartford, This holiday decoration depicts a detailed and life-like Santa, holding the Maine state bird, amidst foliage and flowers in lovely pinks, reds, and shades of green.

This 7" square, decorative paper box has been hand-painted by local Nobleboro artist, Nancy Hartford.


6/7. Felted Wool Dryer Balls (Set of 3)
This set of 3 100% wool dryer balls is made from "locally-raised happy sheep" on Soggy Bottom Farm in Jefferson. Dryer balls help reduce drying time by separating clothes as they tumble. The natural fibers reduce static cling, lint balls and wrinkles. This set of 3 has a retail value of $16.

12/13. One Week Farm Camp
This item is for ONE WEEK for one child to attend Morris Farm Camp in February 2020, April 2020 or a week in Summer 2020. The value of this item in 2019 would have been between $150 and $220. Bidding starts at $100. TWO of these camp weeks will be for bidding. They can be used in the same camp week for 2 children or different camp weeks for the same child. (or two completely unrelated children during any camp week) #11 and #12.


14. 10 Hours of Architect Services
This item is for 10 hours of architectural consultation and design services. David Landmann is on the MFT Board and made a career as a Maine Licensed Architect. He can provide advice for your home, business, camp, undeveloped land, apartment or church. This package includes any service you may need from project planning, site visit, consultation, design services. He will review your photos, project proposal, ideas and ask questions. He may give you "homework" before you set a date to meet at the site. The 10 hours STARTS when he leaves the office in Windsor to come to "kick the dirt" and brainstorm with you on site, maybe make a few initial sketches. After that, your 10 hours involves him getting back to the office and refining those into useable drawings. If more time is requested, an hourly fee can be negotiated, as needed. This would normally cost a client $1000. The minimum bid here is $500. The advice is PRICELESS!!


15. Excavator and Operator for a Day
Your winning bid on this item is for 10 hours, door-to-door, of excavator service, with the operator, at the site of your choosing. (Excavator is travelling about 45 minutes from Wiscasset, travel time included) The machine is a Kubota 121-3SS, 40hp, 10,000 pound machine. It can dig up to 10' down and 6' across. The operator is old, overweight, and a little hard of hearing but both he and the machine will go all day! David will visit you and your site to discuss your plan, evaluating efficiency and safety issues, which doesn't count into your 10 hours. Once a project day is agreed upon and the trailer leaves the driveway, the clock starts. This must take place within 1 year, or by 11/2/2020. This bid is for one complete day of work, not split into multiple days. (Additional time can be negotiated) Although the Operator will exercise all caution and provide "best efforts" services, the Property Owner assumes all risk for damage and project clean-up. This package is valued at $1,000. Bidding opens at $500.


16. 1 Month Red Light Therapy
Red light therapy is used to boost the body's ability for cells to rejuvinate. It has been used sucessfully to treat conditions from sun burns to psoriasis to scarring. It boosts the production of collagen and reduces wrinkles(!!!) Desiree Bailey at Possibilities Salon has generoudly donated a 1-month membership for use of her Red Light Therapy booth. This is not like tanning. There is no burning. There is no exposure limit. The month is valued at $45. Bidding starts at $20.


17. Hand-Painted Roofing Slate Flag
What is more "Maine" than a slate from an old barn roof? Our own Sue Aubuchon has a collection of slates from a barn in Whitefield and paints all kinds of designs, from "Welcome" signs to the flags, offered here. The slates are from an 18th century barn. The slates have been painted and sealed for (more) outdoor exposure. Holes, other than those originally made for roofing nails, have been drilled and a leather, braided thong added for hanging purposes. These slates retail for $25.


18. Landscape Design Services
Does your garden space make sense? Want to attract more pollinators? Need to plan for shade? This winning bid entitles you to a complete design for the landscape of an area at your home, business, church, camp, or wherever. Sue will visit your area and discuss your ideas and plans. She will then design a plan for you that includes flowers, plants, shrubs, trees, rocks, walls, trellises or whatever other features you want to include. Its YOUR space! The design just makes sure it flows within itself and your natural landscape. She will then provide tips for choosing the right plants and proper planting. Sue is a Master Gardener and years of experience in planting for the local area's soil, weather, climate and conditions. The design services are valued at $300. Bidding starts at $100.


19. 6" Anne Hedgecock Pottery Bowl
This item is a beautiful, blue, 6-7", hand-thrown pottery bowl by Anne Hedgecock of Stonehenge Pottery in Boothbay. Born in Damariscotta, Hedgecock has been working with clay for over 30 years. She spent 16 years teaching art at Freeport Middle School. Since her retirement in 2002, Hedgecock has returned to the Mid-Coast and has exhibited her pieces each summer weekend at the Boothbay Region Arts and Crafts Show. This piece has a value of $45.

The winning bid on this item will receive 2 tickets to a performance of the Duponte String Quartet, of your choosing. 22. Antique Time Card Rack
This item is a 150-slot antique wall rack that could have been used for time cards. The rack is wood, but the slots are lined with galvanized metal. The slots are individually numbered. The piece measures about 3' tall by 2' wide. There doesn't appear to be any damage to the wood. Full pictures are available by email. Similar items have sold online for $75- $150

The winning bid for this item will attend the ever-popular Field Course in Old Barns, presented by Medomack (MSAD 40) Adult Ed and taught by Les Fossel of Restoration Resources in Alna, ME. The class teaches money-saving tips for authentically restoring or rennovating your old barn/house. 33. Antique Punched Tin Roof Vent
Look what we found in the barn! The incredibly lucky bidder in this item will go home with an authentic old-fashioned decorative roof vent of their very own. This piece of galvanized artwork stands about 4 feet tall from base to the tip of the spire. The circular guard around the vent is punched in a decorative leaf and floral pattern. We haven't done anything to touch the original patina of this piece. Other than nail holes around the square base, where it probably attached to a larger frame, there is really no damage to this piece. We found others just like it that sold on Ebay for $400- $1500. So we've put a reserve of $200 on it. Start bidding from there.
